untitled-2Flight 1328 from BWI-BOS last week saw a plane full of WWII veterans. The flight, being dubbed “honor flight,” departed and arrived with United States flags and a bagpipe player. Airport Operations Supervisors Stephanie Thompson and Sandra Duarte, and Airport Operation Leads Donnie Todd and Dan Blake oversaw the special flight.

Numerous Crewmembers and Customers held flags and cheered on the vets in the morning and more than 15 Airport Operations Crewmembers helped out.

The vets were extremely happy and grateful to the extra lengths that Crewmembers went to support them and honor their presence. A few chants from the vets were audible including, “Hallelujah, the war is over” and “War was Hell.”
