Mayor Bloomberg, Senator Schumer, Queens Borough President Marshall, and City Councilmember Van Bramer joined us on Wednesday evening to flip the switch on our new sign, illuminating our new headquarters and joining other iconic signs in the Long Island City skyline like Silver Cup and Pepsi. It was a beautiful summer night in the city for a rooftop celebration, and we’re excited to officially cement our position as the major airline with its home base in the big apple.
We’re excited to announce that we’ll be expanding Mint on transcontinental routes, seizing an opportunity to introduce competition in the East and West Coast markets where customers are faced with a decreasing number of choices and where other carriers sell dated business class options at a high cost.
