Our Crewmembers in Aguadilla helped to “Light Up a Life” by decorating and donating “Soaringwords” quilts to kids at Hospital Perea located in the city of Mayaguez not far from their station. They produced a slideshow video to highlight their efforts.

Our Jacksonville Crewmembers recently visited Wolfson Children’s Hospital to deliver more than 20 “Soaringwords” quilts that they had decorated. Their charitable spirit even spread to Southwest, who lent a helping hand in decorating.

Our Newark Crewmembers decorated Soaringwords quilts as part of the Light Up a Life campaign, which they then delivered to help cheer up kids at the Children’s Hospital of New Jersey. The visit was even featured in the hospital newsletter. See below for the clipping.

Our Orlando Crewmembers visited the Arnold Palmer Children Hospital as part of our Light Up a Life Soaringwords initiative. 17 crewmembers including the VP of Jetblue University Warren Christie and MCO General Manager Jason Annunziata delivered more than 80 decorated quilts to cheer up the children at the hospital.

Last week, Portland, Maine Crewmembers decorated “Soaringwords” quilts with inspirational quotes and images to donate to children in need at local hospitals. The efforts come as part of our annual Light Up a Life campaign, which helps to lift the spirits of children in need.
