Going Above to Celebrate Love

When our Inflight crewmembers Nickeloa, Virginia and Daniel heard that an engaged couple was on board their recent BUR-JFK flight—en route to City Hall in NYC for their wedding— they got ridiculously excited to make the flight special for them.

And that’s not all!

Virginia volunteered to be the witness at the couple’s wedding!

The couple, Rick and Liam, were so touched by the amazing customer service that they wrote us a note overflowing with kudos for our three rockstars—you can read it below.

Not only did Virginia serve as the couple’s witness on her day off, but she made a stop at the New York institution, Billy’s Bakery, and picked up their Famous Icebox Cake and some cupcakes to celebrate.

The crew also collected some JetBlue goodies from our onboard snack assortment and Dan just happened to have a “Congratulations” card in his bag that they gave to Liam and Rick.

Serendipitous? We think so!

“I don’t even think it’s going above and beyond—it’s just about doing something human, and caring for other people,” Inflight crewmember Dan relayed.

What’s more, the couple was married on 12/12/12 and celebrates their three month anniversary today! This story is just another example of how JetBlue flies above the rest when it comes to customer service.

Meet another happy “blue” couple!
