Dave’s Visit to the New WWII Museum Exhibition

You may have heard about the recent opening of the US Freedom Pavilion: The Boeing Center, located in New Orleans. The pavilion is the most recent expansion to the World War II Museum, a project expected to be finished by 2016. Filled with artifacts including airplanes, artillery, tanks, the Boeing Center tells the story of what the war was like on land, sea, and in the air. A few warplanes on display include a Boeing B-17 “Flying Fortress,” an SBD Dauntless, a B-25 fuselage and the TBM Avenger; touch screens let visitors explore the cockpits and controls. During his trip to New Orleans, Dave, our CEO, attended a special dedication luncheon for the US Freedom Pavilion.
