The mother of an autistic child recently blogged about a great experience with us. Her daughter is a longtime fan of JetBlue, ever since she heard our Inflight crew sing their rendition of “Happy Birthday” to a customer a few years ago. She loved the song so much, that our social media team tweets her a special birthday message each year with lines from the little diddy.
More recently, the mother and daughter duo were scheduled to fly with us, and the mother called Special Services to give them a heads-up. The team went all out to make their travel experience seamless from start to finish. While this family didn’t ask for special treatment, our teams did a great job of recognizing a delicate situation and handled it well.
