Crewmember Voted into Bermuda’s Parliament

Our Bermuda crewmember Lawrence was recently voted into Bermuda’s Parliament. Lawrence has been with JetBlue since 2006, and his family has a long history of community service dating back to his great, great-grandfather, who was the second black member of the Bermuda House of Assembly (equivalent to the U.S. Congress). His mother was designated by Prince Charles as Officer of the British Empire for her philanthropic work throughout Bermuda.

Lawrence feels strongly about serving his community and as a Member of Parliament (MP), Lawrence is responsible for representing his local constituency by participating in legislation debates, sitting on committees, voting on new and existing legislation, and more. Congratulations, Lawrence!
