Our Boston team organized a food drive to support the Greater Boston Food Bank, whose mission is to end hunger in eastern Massachusetts. In, fact the group is the largest hunger-relief organization in New England and one of the top in the country.
Our Boston station supported the food bank by encouraging crewmembers to donate canned and boxed goods throughout the month. With our team’s help, the Greater Boston Food Bank collected more than five tons of food, which will be donated to those most impacted by Hurricane Sandy.
