Holiday Live From T5: Italian Operatic Teen Trio Il Volo!

We’re proud to announce an exclusive live performance by critically acclaimed Italian operatic teen trio Il Volo (Italian for “flight”) on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at  5 p.m. ET at our world class Terminal 5 at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport.

Celebrating the recent release of their second CD “We Are Love” and their current tour with Barbra Streisand, Il Volo is spreading holiday cheer throughout New York, first with a performance at the Rockefeller Center tree lighting on Nov. 28, culminating with a performance as part of our Live From T5 concert series on Dec. 4.

To bring holiday cheer to some of New York’s most deserving residents and to show our appreciation for the hard work of the city’s emergency personnel, we’re partnering with Il Volo to extend special invitations to the performance to first responders and crewmembers impacted by Hurricane Sandy. Our Live From T5 concerts are held post-security at Terminal 5 (T5) at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York and are available exclusively to ticketed customers and contest winners.

As a special holiday treat, JetBlue has also partnered with Interscope Records and Il Volo for a contest to provide tickets to some of the group’s most dedicated fans. Beginning November 27, fans can enter via the group’s website and social media channels for a chance to win passes (winner plus a guest) to this exclusive, intimate concert as well as a private meet and greet with the trio. Fans in the New York area who are members of the Il Volo mailing list can enter via

My sister and I are dying to go…dying!! We live in Howard Beach (literally 5 minutes from JFK and an area that was quite horribly affected by Hurricane Sandy). Crossing our fingers that we can go!

PS…we only fly Jetblue – actually just booked a roundtrip to the Bahamas the other day :)

I still haven’t received the e-mail from Interscope Records that was supposed to have been sent after we signed up for Il Volo’s newsletter :-( I ADORE them and I would like to sign up for a chance to win, but the concert is tomorrow and they still have not sent out the e-mail with instructions! I’ve signed up numerous times…

I’m not asking for tickets because I live on the west coast, but I was wondering if there will be any recording made for those fans who can’t see them… Thank you! This is a wonderful thing for you and for Il Volo to do for the victims of Hurricane Sandy! Bless you all!
