Today is National Boss’s Day, a holiday made official by one Ms. Patricia Bays Haroski, a receptionist for State Farm, when she registered the day in 1958 with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. The significance of the date? It was her boss’s birthday! The holiday has since caught on in countries as far reaching as Australia and Egypt, and has been adopted by Hallmark as another reason to send that boss you hopefully love a note of appreciation.
We’re celebrating the day with a sale, where you can fly like a boss and pay like an intern, with fares starting at just $49 each way.
