Our Boston Planes Get a New Home

Last Thursday, we moved into the new home for our planes at Hangar 8 at Boston’s Logan! The first aircraft to set up shop was tail N661, Let The Blue Times Roll.

Although the building itself has been around since it was built for Boston-based Northeast Airlines in the late 1950s, re designed the space and most of its infrastructure is new.

Our maintenance and materiels teams will use our space at BOS Hangar 8 for a wide range of functions. Among other things, maintenance crewmembers at Hangar 8 will be changing engines, performing aircraft jacking and weight jobs, repairing out of service aircraft, conducting E190 health checks, and performing overnight maintenance. Meanwhile, materiels crewmembers will use the hangar to store bulk items, tools, and other parts and components needed for our operation.
