What’s Your Price For Flight?

We’re celebrating the release of Warner Bros new theatrical release ‘Rock of Ages’ by rolling fares back to the 80’s. The movie releases in theaters today and offering the “What’s Your Price For Flight” fare sale at www.jetblue.com for as low as $40 for travel between Long Beach and Oakland, San Francisco, Sacramento, Seattle, Las Vegas or Portland, OR. Flights are on sale today only through 11:59 p.m. PT for travel between September 4, 2012 and October 4, 2012.

As a precursor to the movie and also in honor of the 80’s, we hosted a special performance by the rock band Night Ranger at Long Beach Airport yesterday. Best known for their 1984 mega-hit “Sister Christian,” featured in New Line Cinema’s new musical film ‘Rock of Ages,’ Night Ranger performed the first-ever live musical concert at Long Beach Airport (LGB). We partnered with LGB, KLOS-FM and Warner Bros. for this special customer experience. Fans enjoyed a personal, intimate acoustic 30-minute performance of the rock band’s classics.

Night Ranger performed with JetBlue’s runways and Los Angeles County as its backdrop. Additionally, fans paid homage to the ‘80’s by showing up clad in their finest threads from the era. Our crewmembers were on hand with great prizes such as travel certificates for the first 80 fans that showed up in 80’s gear and a vacation package for the most original costume.
