Today we’ll be operating a very special charter flight from our Newburgh station in New York—one that will take 100 WWII Veterans on their first-ever visit to the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C. The trip has been coordinated by the Hudson Valley Honor Flight, a local chapter of the Honor Flight Network, a non-profit organization that transports our country’s Veterans to Washington D.C. so that they can reflect at their memorials.
Veterans from six surrounding counties will meet at Stewart International Airport, where one of our A320s will be waiting for the group. Prior to departure, a small ceremony will take place, with a special appearance by a military Color Guard.
We’re happy to show our support for those who have served our country.
