JetBlue Braves The Cold For A Good Cause

Our Boston crewmembers Donnie and Amanda recently braved the chilly temperatures of Boston Harbor to splash around for a good cause. Cupid Splash is a cold-water plunge and pledge fundraiser, where participants “dash” and “splash” to show their commitment to a clean Boston Harbor and support of local beaches. The event benefits Save the Harbor/Save the Bay, a non-profit organization that highlights the assets of the beaches throughout the region and sponsors events.

Donnie and Amanda, sporting their JetBlue t-shirts, plunged under the freezing water and were cheered on by their fellow Boston crewmembers, who raised money to support their efforts. This year, over 150 participants “splashed” at 10 beaches around the Boston metro area, and they beat their fundraising goal of $30,000.
JetBlue is a proud supporter of Save the Harbor/Save the Bay!
