Pay For Carry-on Luggage? Fuggedaboutit!

Extrago Sherpa Shirt*, special outerwear that JetBlue designed to hold “an entire trip’s worth of necessities, including the money you’ll save by not checking or carrying on your bag.”

We thought it was an April Fool’s joke, but turns out it’s true. Starting today, a second airline will be charging for carry-on luggage; the second time this week the cookie has crumbled.

To lighten the mood, please enjoy our below Ground Rules video which highlights one of our signature offerings: the first checked bag flies free. We also don’t charge for carry-on bags (and we don’t judge you for that hideous pattern on your luggage; after all, neon pink and green stripes make your bag easier to spot when it comes off the baggage carousel).

Oh, and we love cookies. That’s why we offer free Linden’s Chocolate Chip Cookies on our flights. Check out our complimentary snack offerings at jetblue.com.

I’m begging and pleading to you. My mothers 65th birthday is on May 19th. My sister is trying to fly home to Maine from the Dominican Republic for the big surprise Birthday Party. She is a volunteer teacher at an International School in Cabrera, DR. She went to use her JetBlue points and thought the flight would only be $97, but it wound up being over $300. She hardly makes that in a month. Can you please help her get home? – From Desperate Sister
