Opening Day At JetBlue Park A Home Run!

The grand opening of the highly-anticipated JetBlue Park this past Saturday hit a home run! A reported 15,000 people turned out for the event with a big time Fenway feel. The day kicked off with the team’s first full squad workout of the season, followed by an opening ceremony with Lee County Commissioners, our CEO Dave and Red Sox Owner, John Henry—who stated that the new park is the “most beautiful training complex in baseball.”

After the ribbon-cutting, JetBlue Park’s gates opened to the public and the replica Green Monster mascot was the first stop for many visitors.

This is awesome, its about time they got a new facility and I can’t wait to get down there and see what the new park looks like. From what I have heard it is top of the line and hopefully can prepare the sox to go on another world series run this year. Cue the Duckboats!
