We’re doubling our popular service from New York’s LaGuardia Airport (LGA) and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), increasing service at both convenient airports by eight roundtrips daily to at least 16 roundtrips by this summer. The growth is made possible by our recent acquisition of slots through an FAA auction.
New York/LaGuardia expansion
At LaGuardia, we’ll add daily sun-bound service to three new Floridian destinations including Fort Myers (RSW), Sarasota/Bradenton (SRQ) and Tampa (TPA) beginning on June 11, 2012. Tampa will be served twice-daily while Fort Myers and Sarasota/Bradenton will be served with one daily flight.
In addition, we’re boosting service to our existing LaGuardia destinations by adding two more daily flights to Orlando, and one additional flight to Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood and West Palm Beach.
Washington/Reagan National expansion
At Washington’s close-in Reagan National Airport, we’ll boost our high-frequency service to Boston, adding three more daily roundtrips for a total of ten per day, beginning June 11, 2012. Combined with our service between Boston and both Baltimore Washington and Washington Dulles International Airports, we continue to offer a market-leading schedule and the most flights between Boston and the National Capital Region.
Also in June, we’ll add new service from Reagan National to Tampa and boost our existing service to Fort Lauderdale and Orlando. Tampa will be served once daily and two additional flights will be added to both Fort Lauderdale and Orlando.
To celebrate our new destinations and expanded schedule, flights are on sale today through March 12 for travel between June 11 and July 31, 2012 (blackout dates of June 29 – July 9) at www.jetblue.com for all-in, one-way fares as low as:
· $79 between Reagan National and Tampa
· $99 between LaGuardia and Tampa
· $109 between LaGuardia and Sarasota
· $119 between LaGuardia and Ft. Myers
We’ve offered low fare flights at LaGuardia Airport since 2004 and currently provide nonstop service to three Florida destinations – Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood, Orlando and West Palm Beach – with up to ten daily flights. We began operations at Washington National in November 2010 and operate up to nine daily flights to our focus cities in Boston, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood, and Orlando. Since launch, industry fares in Boston lowered by approximately 30 percent.
