Digital Refresh On The Taxiway!

You may see some changes to jetblue.com this weekend as we unveil our new website! Today, we’re soft-launching our new website, mobile site, and our first iPhone application.

We’re excited to bring you lots of cool, new features (which we’ll share more about with you very soon), but soft-launch means that we’ll be working over the weekend to ensure that the new site is up and running at optimal performance.

Stay tuned to the iTunes App Store for our iPhone app and check back for more information early next week about how the new jetblue.com, jetblue.mobile.com and iPhone app will refresh your travel experience!

As we launch an updated jetblue.com look for the “feedback” link at the bottom of any page and let us know what you think!

Sadly your old site looked a lot better. this new one, while I understand the change and like the concept, everything is too large and goofy looking. Good concept, poor execution.

I’m a bit disappointed in the digital refresh. Obviously somebody in the development group didn’t follow an industry standard and continue use of Flash Player. As of mid 2011 Flash is no longer an industry standards and HTML5 will be the most common. What’s most puzzling is the fact, that JB knows that iOS is the most dominant OS on the market which includes iPhones and iPads which are used widely to access our full website. Sadly, some of the functions on main “refreshed” website still require use of Flash player, Flash is not supported by iOS. :-) This is just my little observation. Other then that, keep up the good work team.

The new refreshed site looks even better than the old version! Any plans for an app for Windows phone 7?
