Now Flying Into Liberia, Costa Rica’s New Terminal

In November, we added Liberia to our BlueCity roster, offering four weekly flights from JFK. The new space at Daniel Oduber International Airport is officially open for business and we’re calling it home. With the capacity to serve 1,500 passengers during peak hours, this addition will position Liberia as one of the best airports in Latin America. Features include 28 check-in counters, art and souvenir shops, restaurants, car rental counters, a VIP lounge, currency exchange counters, a convenience store and more.

Travel to Liberia is growing!

Increased traffic year over year proves that Liberia has become a popular travel destination. In November 2011, 35,140 travelers passed through LIR, while the previous year saw 27,291; an increase of 29%!
