- Wed., Nov. 16: Twice weekly nonstop service from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to La Romana International Airport (LRM), a brand new destination for us and the fifth served in the Dominican Republic.
- Thurs., Nov. 17: Nonstop flights from San Juan’s Luis Munoz Marin Airport (SJU) in Puerto Rico to St. Maarten begin, marking the eighth nonstop destination served from San Juan.

As we continue our Caribbean growth, on Dec. 12 we’ll also add new service from San Juan to both St. Thomas and St. Croix, in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Boston will receive nonstop service to St. Thomas later that week, on Dec. 15, 2011, closing the year with a total of 70 destinations across our route network.
To kick off the week-long celebration, today through Saturday, Nov. 19 JetBlue Getaways will be giving away five four-day, three-night vacation package for two including roundtrip airfare and hotel accommodations each day, for a total of 25 Getaways vacation packages, to Nassau, La Romana, Liberia, St. Croix and St. Thomas respectively.

Everyone who enters to win will also receive a $50 discount code off a future JetBlue Getaways vacation package. What’s more, we’re inviting travelers to ‘Catch a Waive’ on our standard $100 surfboard fee when traveling between Nov. 17 and Dec. 17, 2012 to any destination surfboards are accepted in our network.
All customers traveling through our Terminal 5 at JFK this week will have the opportunity to take a photo in one of two tropical beach scenes, which can be easily uploaded to Facebook to share with friends and family. The scenes will be on-site to promote La Romana and Liberia, our 67th and 68th new destinations.
