Altoona, Pa., changes name to Spurlock movie title: JetBlue charters the flight there

There’s a new sheriff in town. The residents of Altoona, Pa. will have to get used to a new name beginning at 1 p.m. tomorrow when their town is renamed “POM Wonderful Presents: The Greatest Movie Ever Sold,” in honor of Morgan Spurlock’s new film.

As one of the featured sponsors of the movie, we’re chartering the jet to Altoona tomorrow for the renaming ceremony and the East Coast premiere of the film.  “The Greatest Movie Ever Sold” is a documentary about product placement, cleverly funded by way of product placement.

Stay tuned to BlueTales tomorrow when we’ll have a guest blogger on the scene reporting live as JetBlue descends into Altoona.
