AYCJ Container Project

OK, so we know that All You Can Jet was some time ago, but great stories continue to come out of our 30-day unlimited pass. Read below for the recount from one of our AYCJetters, who used his pass to raise funds for a school in Zambia.

As told by AYCJetter Greg:

I flew on 58 flights covering over 58,000 miles (managed to win the GateGuru AYCJ challenge, for the most airport check-ins).  We had some small fundraising events along the way, met many great people and I made a ton of contacts that we are working to develop for future projects to help the school in Zambia. We even went back to an orphanage in Bogota that I visited last year, and helped out for a day.

The money that we raised during the month was used to purchased a 40 foot cargo container.

The container was filled with school supplies, clothing and other needed items (new and used) for the school and orphans. It looks like we will be shipping the container to Africa sometime in the spring, depending on future donations.

Thanks to many generous people and JetBlue, once again, we are able to make a huge difference in the lives of these children!
