A Whale of a Storm

Despite the weather event this week, there was a bit of levity in Orlando last night as a family of four came to the ticket counter for check-in carrying a gigantic six-foot long Shamu stuffed animal.  One of their children had won the giant whale and was upset because he thought he would have to leave it behind.

Orlando Ground Operations Lead Hamilton, who was checking in the family at the ticket counter, asked for permission to accept the Shamu as baggage and gently wrapped the giant whale for travel, much to the delight of waiting Customers, fellow Crewmembers and especially the young boy who was elated he didn’t have to leave his prize at the airport.

In the below image, Hamilton poses with the massive orca who is wrapped and ready to go.
