Tuesday’s Travel Tips – Costa Rica!

Costa Rica is a true gem, a destination where you can point your camera and capture the amazing richness and beauty of this world’s finest offerings without even trying very hard. From lush rain forests, steaming volcanoes and crystal clear waters with soft, sandy beaches, to old stone buildings, friendly people, savory local cuisine and colorful, diverse animals, Costa Rica is a real treasure, and a must-stop on our BlueCity tour. We thought a pictorial guide would be better suited than words of advice for this week’s Tuesday’s Travel Tips, so please see below for some great shots of this tropical, Central American country.

And please feel free to share your Costa Rica travel tips in the below comments fields!

I’m a little confused on how your deals work. I’m looking to go to Costa Rica February 4th through the 9th. Do you have a special for that date?

    Hi Pauline,

We publish deals every Tuesday, called “Cheeps” at: http://www.jetblue.com/deals/twitter/default.asp, so you can check back for discounted offers to all different destinations each week. Tuesday’s Travel Tips is a weekly column on our BlueTales blog where we visit a different BlueCity. It is not usually tied to a specific deal. Thanks for reading and inquiring!

Undoubtedely beautiful but be very cautious if you should become sick or injured, the medical help is not good or in some areas not available.
I have 2 friends who became serv sick & had to leave immediatly to save their life. No kidding.

So true – the emergency facilities are not what we are used to in the mainland US. But what a beautiful place! Can’t wait to go back. Hope to snag some JetBlue special deals!
