JetBlue earns perfect score on HRC Corporate Equality Index

Today we are proud to announce that for the second time we have earned a perfect score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign’s 2010 Corporate Equality Index and Best Places to Work survey, America’s leading indicator of companies’ attitudes and policies toward lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Crewmembers and Customers.

Our rating also recognized our outreach efforts to the LGBT community: We proudly support events and organizations of importance to Crewmembers and Customers such as Equality California; Equality Florida; the Point Foundation, which funds college scholarships for marginalized youth; the Ali Forney Center in New York, the nation’s largest shelter for LGBT youth; PFLAG NYC; the Boston Gay Men’s Chorus; and Utah Pride in Salt Lake City. Earlier this year, we became the first-ever U.S. airline to host an LGBT-themed flight, JetPride, in celebration of Long Beach Lesbian & Gay Pride in California.

Thank you for helping to make JetBlue a “best place to work!”
