Wounded Warrior Project to participate in All You Can Jet

Over the course of September, wounded warrior Robert Luscomb and his wife will use the All You Can Jet Passes to attend various events across the country, as part of a partnership between us and the Wounded Warrier Project.

Luscomb, who sustained both visible and invisible injuries while serving our nation, attended the promotion’s ‘Ready.Jet.Go!’ kick-off event at JetBlue’s Terminal 5 at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York. He and his wife will then travel to Boston to be honored at Fenway Park by the Boston Red Sox.  The Luscombs will then jet to Windham, NY for Project Odyssey, a WWP program for those veterans suffering with combat stress. They will continue on to other sporting events nationwide, finally ending with a visit to the Brook Army Medical Center in Texas.

Mr. Luscomb is a below the knee amputee and like so many others also suffers from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Warriors suffering from PTSD or combat stress can often become withdrawn.  Wounded Warrior Project is working with Robert and his wife so that the All You Can Jet pass can serve as a significant part of his recovery and rehabilitation.  Additionally, the hope is that this warrior can gain confidence and encourage others to do the same.
