I know that Jetblue Airways is the best airlines and their reservation people are great and their filight attendants really take the time to care about you having a great jetblue experience while flying. This is one Airline that cares about their employees and customers.

As someone who sometimes buys EML seats, especially on long flights, I was initially excited by this, but I am worried that it shows the beginning of a larger trend, where JetBlue slowly gives more benefits to people who buy EML seats, until it becomes like JetBlue’s quiet version of First Class. As a student, I really like that JetBlue treats everyone equally, instead of letting people pay extra for what amounts to a much nicer flying experience. I can understand for charging a little more for roomier seats, especially since some customers actually need the legroom, but letting them board earlier seems like an arbitrary difference that will just serve to widen the gap between jetters who did and didn’t buy EML seats.
