JetBlue hosts 2011 Boston Corporate Travel Advisory Board Meeting

Last Friday, our Corporate Sales team hosted a group of travel professionals in Boston for a specialized meeting with the JetBlue Commercial team. The Corporate Sales team hosts an advisory board meeting annually in order to present new developments from our airline to the wider travel industry.

Our focus for this year’s meeting was JetBlue’s initiatives in Boston, especially with regards to business travel. Our airline’s growth in this market was the primary driver of this meeting and set the tone for the day. Among the topics discussed were the renovation plans for Terminal C at Logan, our growth initiatives and frequency adjustments to key business markets in and out of Boston.

The day itself was quite productive, and we received very constructive feedback from the advisory board. While they are excited about our growth, the resounding response was to not “change” JetBlue. They and their travelers love everything we stand for and the last thing they want to happen is for JetBlue to become like a legacy carrier.
