Starting tomorrow, we’ll kick off our latest interline partnership: American
Airlines joins Aer Lingus, Lufthansa and South African as another international connecting option! Now when your plans call for foreign travel, you can seamlessly connect from JetBlue onto American (or any of our other partners) to one of their long-haul destinations like Tokyo or Buenos Aires. Connections will be available via both JFK and Boston and only on routes where we don’t already compete with each other.
Customers may book interline travel through travel agencies, most major online travel websites, American Airlines ticket counters, or by calling American Airlines Reservations at 800-433-7300. Both American and JetBlue are also working to make flights offered through the agreement available for sale on our websites.
Today we are also thrilled to announce that we have agreed to begin a frequent flyer relationship with American later this year. Members of American’s AAdvantage program – the largest frequent flier program in the industry – and our TrueBlue program will be able to earn AAdvantage miles or TrueBlue points, respectively, when they fly only on the interline routes.
