Mark your calendars! On Tuesday, June 22nd, at 6 pm, Flavorpill and JetBlue’s TrueBlue will host the world’s largest documented yoga event ever as 10,000 people of all background, ages, sizes, and skill levels will simultaneously practice on the Great Lawn in Central Park, NYC. The free yoga class will be taught by acclaimed yogi, Elena Brower and will attempt to set the record for the largest documented yoga gathering in history in the Guinness Book of World Records.
Thousands of yoga aficionados will submit their names to www.flavorpill.com/yoga when registration opens on May 17th, with the hopes of being selected to join this once in a lifetime class on Central Park’s famed Great Lawn on the first day of summer.
When visiting Flavorpill’s website, yogis nationwide will also have a chance to enter the Yoga at the Great Lawn Contest, a national campaign launched by TrueBlue, JetBlue Airways’ customer rewards program. Two winners from each of five JetBlue destinations will be flown nonstop to New York City on the award-winning airline and be treated to a complimentary two-night stay at The Standard, New York and VIP access to “Yoga at the Great Lawn.”
All Yoga at the Great Lawn participants will receive blue yoga mats from JetBlue and smartwater® will responsibly hydrate yogis onsite. The event will be documented from a 150-foot crane, providing amazing aerial views of the 10,000 practicing yogis. Members of the media will be brought up on the crane in small groups for a birds-eye view this magnificent sight.
