PETA is upset with Southwest for rejecting an ad tailored for Southwest’s inflight magazine, Spirit. The ad, which features an underwear-clad female with the copy, “Be Proud of Your Body Scan: Go Vegan,” was deemed an inappropriate illustration by Southwest. PETA feels the ad was rejected because the airline’s headquarters are in Dallas, in the “heart of the beef belt.”
