JetBlue and South African Airways Proudly Announce New Interline Agreement

We’re proud to announce that have established a comprehensive interline agreement with South African Airways, providing new and convenient connection options for both SAA and JetBlue customers wishing to travel between the U.S. and southern Africa.     This is great to hear! I just wonder why the connection isn’t also available at Washington-Dulles? SAA has a presence there with daily, direct service from IAD-JNB and with Dulles being a focus city for jetBlue, i just wonder why the connection isn’t made there also.

    Probably because to get to Dulles on JetBlue from most places in the US, you’d have to fly through JFK anyway. So it makes sense to connect there to JNB rather than continuing on to IAD.
