We briefly experienced a centralized IT issue today (related to flight information systems), and voluntarily halted departures from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. ET while we worked to bring the systems back online. There were no cancellations due to the issue, but flights scheduled to depart between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. were delayed. We’ve identified a fix, so the “ground stop” was lifted at 3:30 p.m. Fewer than a dozen flights were impacted — again, no cancellations, just some delays.
Separately, we are operating a thinner schedule today due to the weather-related cancellations (80 flights systemwide) and are working to minimize delays for our Customers.
