Did you know… legroom

Did you know…that Americans like space? We own bigger cars, homes (and waistlines) than most others in the world. We like to super-size our drinks and upgrade our accommodations.  We take big risks and we enjoy big gains. And when we travel, we like our legroom!

We are proud to offer more legroom than any other airline. Yes, we’re sure of that- we measured! We also now offer Even More Legroom. For a nominal fee, you can spread out like the rock star that you are and enjoy even more comfort. As stated in the press release that first announced this offering, “so go ahead, stretch out. Your legs will thank you!”

I think that the comfort of JetBlue flights are one of the principal reasons for it’s success. However, I feel that there is more “room” for change. As stated in the article, Americans have bigger waistlines. I am a proud American…a Proud American…if you get my drift! I think that JetBlue could really score some points by creating seats that have “Even More Hip-room”, the EMH seat. There is nothing more uncomfortable than being squished into a seat that is 6 inches smaller than you. One way that this can be accomplished is by having the armrests next to the window be movable. I have flown another airline that does this and was amazed at how much more room this provided. The best part of this is that it doesn’t involve reconfiguring the aircraft. Larger people could simply book window seats and be more comfortable! At least…that’s what I’d like to se JetBlue do to continue to be the best, and bring Humanity(big or small) back to the air.
