JetBlue cutover to Sabre on Friday, Jan. 29, 2010. So far, things have been going as expected. We have a robust identification process in place, and we continue to see quick resolution of these problems. However, we still may experience long lobby wait times in our BlueCities and longer hold times at 800-JETBLUE.
This morning we did hold several flights in order to accommodate Customers who experienced longer lobby times than usual. For any Customers who did miss flights, we are accommodating them on the next available flight. Weather has caused some flight changes and it’s a Friday. The combination of these factors made for more Customers arriving at the airport in order to beat any incoming weather.
We ask our Customers to arrive 2 hours prior to departure for domestic flights and at least 3 hours prior to departure for international destinations, as we gain experience with the new system.
