10th Anniversary stories- favorite JetBlue moment

As we celebrate our 10th Anniversary this year, we take a fond look back to all of the stories that comprise our rich and diverse history. We will be publishing regular tales from Crewmembers about their favorite memories from the early days, impacting moments, and how they came to JetBlue. Read below for the first such tale from Administrative Assistant at our Headquarters in Forest Hills, Barbara Sacher.

“I was given the opportunity to fly to Toulouse, France for five days with a great group of Crewmembers, to bring back a new Airbus 320. Everything was well organized, from dining on excellent French food, to the on-time transportation and the tours that included a medieval castle and the most modern aircraft factory in the world, Airbus.

Located next to the runways of Toulouse-Blagnac’s airport we got to see a mock-up of the A380 and the assembly line where JetBlue’s and other aircraft are being manufactured. The highlight of the trip was flying back to the states onboard a brand-new JetBlue Airbus 320. We took photos from the cockpit of the icebergs below and talked about the awesome trip we had just experienced. I even got to do a little shopping at the airport when we refueled in Iceland. This was the smoothest flight I can remember in over 35 years in the industry and decided it was a magical ending to a fairy tale story. Thank you JetBlue, you have given me memories that I will forever be thankful for.”
