German airline says you can check your Christmas tree

German airline, Air Berlin, has reportedly announced that they will allow customers to check their Christmas trees this holiday season. All trees up to two meters are free to bring along.

“After all,” offered a spokesperson from Air Berlin, “it was Queen Victoria’s husband, Prince Albert, who brought the tradition with him to England in the first place!”

What could be more festive than watching Christmas trees go round and round on the baggage carousel?
