On Monday, President Obama took the Oath of Office for the second time and some of our crewmembers were among the one million on hand to witness this moment in history.
“It was a very diverse crowd and the energy was great. Everyone was just so happy to not only witness history in the making, but actually be a part of it. People hung on every word Obama said in his speech and cheered loudly whenever the President or his wife or two girls appeared on the big screen. While it was cold and crowded, it was an epic experience that evoked feelings of optimism and progress.” — Melissa, from our Long ISland City support center
