I love taking photos and since I travel a lot in my business I have an opportunity to take a lot of them, so I’m getting better at it! I am an attorney who lives in Vermont and has a practice in Orange County, Southern California. I use JetBlue almost exclusively from Burlington to JFK and then to Long Beach and back. I also sometimes may be found visiting my son and his family in Utah on JetBlue. I have been a loyal JetBlue Customer since they first started flying from Burlington more than 10 years ago and also was lucky enough to get a $10 fare to Salt Lake City when they celebrated their 10 year anniversary earlier this year. I got on a plane, flew to JFK, flew to Salt Lake City and arrived around dinner time, my daughter in law picked me up and dropped me in front of their house. She went in the garage way and I rang the doorbell.
You should have seen the looks on my grandkids faces when they opened the door and it was me!
They said, “What are you doing here?” and I said, “I just came for dinner”. I was able to do that twice as my son and grandson were at Scouts so I was able to go back out onto the front porch when I heard them come down the driveway and do it again! Only my daughter in law and I were in on the secret. I flew back out on the late night flight to JFK and then up to Burlington Wednesday morning. What a great surprise!
I was a military widow and found my soul mate a few years ago and was married in September 2009. The photo of Mallets Bay was taken near his home where there are many beautiful sunsets over Lake Champlain, the lake that was almost permanently named one of the Great Lakes a few years ago.
I am excited to hear about your photo contest and would like to contribute other photos in the future. We have spent some time driving up the California Coast from Oakland (JetBlue flew him there) to Oregon and down the California Coast from San Francisco (JetBlue flew him there) to Long Beach as well as from San Diego to San Simeon and back to Long Beach.
Submit your JetBlue or BlueCity Pic(K)s to email@example.com and don’t forget to include your name and where you snapped the pic!
